Weekly Photo Challenge: Happy
Is it such a big question: What makes one happy? I’d like to think of it this way:
Happiness is never stopping to think if you are. ~Palmer Sondreal

I think people need to remember that, regardless of what makes them happy – happiness comes in moments and is not static. My father once told me, years and years ago, that he didn’t think he’d ever been happy. I think that there were times when he *was* happy, but maybe didn’t think about it as being such, and didn’t realize that happiness – like any other emotion – is fleeting and as such should be appreciated when it’s there to be felt. Rambling as this is, does it make sense?
Rebecca, yes, of course, it makes sense. I guess we are all too busy with the business of living to think about it!

Beautiful collection of what makes you happy.
I see you got new barefoot shoes. Be sure to break them in slowly. I overdid it in the beginning with mine and I was so sore (from ankles to waist!).
Good advice, Robin. They feel so comfortable as is, I don’t want to be stuck with blistered feet in another country! H
The things that make you happy are lovely, and I think the quote is wise.
Thanks, Lisa. Have a peaceful Sunday.
